In keeping with the annual presentation of the Ingenuity event,

this year Creative Mullum is hosting a prize for small sculpture

To be held at:

 

Mullumbimby Services Club

58 Dalley St Mullumbimby

November 4-6, 2022

Entry deadline September 30, 2022

 

30 sculptures will be selected for exhibition from images submitted online.

There is no specific theme.

All sculptures must be within 60cm x 60cm x 60cm, any materials.

Sculptures can be for sale – Creative Mullum will take a commission of 30% on any sale.

All artists resident of the NSW Northern Rivers are eligible

(including Tweed, Byron, Ballina, Lismore, Clarence Valley , Richmond Valley and Kyogle Shires)

There is no entry fee – One entry per artist

There are three prizes available

$3000 Prize for Best Sculpture (Non acquisitive)

$3000 RGOL Prize (Acquisitive)

Conditions of Entry 2022

 

ARTWORK TO ENTER

Due to limited exhibition space, ONE (1) entry per artist is permitted.

Entry must be the original work of the entrant and have been completed in the past 12 months. Please ensure that delivered work is the same as work submitted online.Work must not exceed 600mm x 600mm x 600mm in any direction.

Works can be of any material.

Work must be ready to safely display upon delivery. 

Works can be for sale, but not necessary. Creative Mullum will take a commission of 30% on any sale. 

The committee reserves the right to refuse any work it deems unsuitable, or due to the size of the art work, or due to safety constraints. 

The work entered must not have won a prize in a previous art competition.

As this is a curated exhibition, any selected works must be available for exhibition from 4th-6th November, 2022.

 

ENTRY PROTOCOL

All entries are to be made online via our website.

It is free to enter. Limit to ONE (1) work per artist. 

The completed online entry and fee must be received no later than 5pm 30th September 2022. 

 

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

All works must be delivered to Mullumbimby Ex-Services Club, 58 Dalley Street Mullumbimby between 12pm-4pm on Friday 4th November 2022.

No further responsibility will be taken by the committee for works not collected by 7pm on 6th November– including purchased pieces.

It is the artist’s responsibility to arrange for collection, or shipping of any sold work.

JUDGING

Independent judges will conduct judging of artworks entered.
The judges’ decision will be, in all cases, absolutely final and no correspondence of any kind will be entered into.

 

SALES COMMISSION

Creative Mullum will take a 30% commission of the sale price.

Proceeds of any sale (less commission) will be paid to the artist within 21 days or as soon as possible after a card payment has been cleared.

 

DATA COLLECTION AND IMAGES

The information collected for your entry will be used to contact you now, and in the future, unless you inform us in writing not to do so.

Creative Mullum reserves the right to use images of art work entered for future promotional purposes.
